Sept 19th 7.30pm there is a program on BBC 'inside out' i think. It is covering the 08 in liverpool and is covering every area from positives to negatives. It may be worth a watch. I have just seen a summary on BBC local news and its not looking great for them. Although Phil Redmond has joined the board in the entertainment sector. This could be good.

According to the Daily Post this programme was pretty negative about the whole City and the Capital of Culture

It's very easy to be critical of both Liverpool and the Capital of Culture. There are a whole host of shortcomings with both. I dont take any notice of local press - as far as news goes it is a long way from unbiased reporting and there are a lot economic benefits for the papers with regards to raving about the influx of government/private investment. |
